Seamless Tiling
Making a seamless tile background (no apparent borders) isn't that hard. It allows you to use a small image to create a big background, rather than have to create a background image the size of the page that causes a long loading time. Some images can be used easily, others that have complicated patterns can sometimes show lines that don't look very nice. No matter what, no background image should be too overwhelming or prevent the user from reading text on top of it. This one is a bit too much, I think. Here are two images, each of which can be used as a background.
