Old Fashioned HTML
Without alignment tags, images position themselves next to one other.
With a paragraph return, they align one
underneath the other
(you can also use a break for less vertical spacing between images).
With alignment tags, you can control how the images line up to the left or to the right of your browser window.
If you want more control over the gif alignment, use a spacer. The spacer is a transparent gif which you place between gifs that you want to space out. Here I placed a spacer of 50 pixels between the images. You could also create a spacer to give a left indentation before your images.
You can control the vertical or horizontal distance between your gif and whatever is adjunct to it. The drawback is that the distance is applied on both sides (left and right or top and bottom).
Here the horizontal distance is 30 pixels.
Finally you can control how text is displayed next to an image.
