Wireframes present the basic structure of individual pages. They show the relative importance of items by position and size, even though they are usually just in black and white.

Every wireframe is annotated to show what interactions and actions different elements might cause.

Often the content is just suggested: a gray box in place of a photograph, Greek text to show where real text would appear.
